Moving abroad
Studying abroad is an integral part of the JUNIA experience. Whether it’s an exchange program, an internship, a language immersion program, or a dual-degree program, each experience offers the opportunity to discover new ways of learning and working, and to broaden your horizons.
To earn their degree, engineering students must complete an international experience during their studies.
- Students: A minimum of 20 weeks during the academic year, as an internship at a company or in a laboratory.
- Apprentices: A minimum of 12 weeks as part of an international assignment with their host company or an experience at a training center.

A great experience to add to your resume!
Whether in a company, a laboratory, or an organization, you’ll work on real-world projects while discovering other professional practices. This immersive experience will develop your technical, language, and interpersonal skills, while adding a truly international dimension to your academic journey and your future career plans.
Long-term immersion abroad
The International Break is an extended immersion abroad that concludes the preparatory program.
This experience allows students to discover a new living and working environment, gain independence, and develop their ability to adapt. Often seen as a formative first international experience, it is a milestone in shaping students’ personal and professional paths.
Earn an Additional Degree
A dual degree program allows students to complete part of their studies at a partner university abroad and earn an additional degree.
This experience offers the opportunity to compare academic approaches, develop additional skills, and enrich your academic journey with a strong international perspective. It’s an asset for understanding the global challenges in your field and thriving in multicultural environments.
