A complementary academic background

What is a dual degree?

A dual degree program allows students to earn both the JUNIA engineering degree and a second degree awarded by a partner university, either in France or abroad. This program is typically completed during the 4th or 5th year and includes an additional period of study, ranging from one semester to one year. It leads to the acquisition of complementary skills in a specialized field or to the award of a Master of Science degree.

FAQ
How can I apply for a dual degree?

Selection is based on your academic record and may include an interview or specific criteria set by the partner university. The process varies depending on the programme and destination chosen. Preparing in advance with the teaching teams helps identify the path best suited to your plans.

Do I have to go abroad to earn a dual degree?

Not necessarily. Some dual degrees are offered with French institutions. Others take place at an international partner university, offering an academic and cultural experience in a new environment.

How much does a dual degree cost?

Throughout the dual degree, students remain enrolled at JUNIA and must pay the school’s tuition fees as well as the CVEC (Contribution de Vie Étudiante et de Campus – Student and Campus Life Contribution). Depending on the partner university, additional tuition fees may also be charged by the host institution.

Does a dual degree extend the length of my studies?

Yes. A dual degree involves extending the program. Depending on the programme chosen, this extension can amount to an extra semester or an additional year of study.
