Le Figaro Etudiant evaluated the 102 schools in the ranking using data certified by the Commission des titres d’ingénieurs (CTI) in the three following areas:
- Academic excellence
Criteria taken into account: the rate of access to the school on Parcoursup, the baccalaureate results of entrants, the number of doctoral students supervised by the school’s researchers and teacher-researchers. - International
Criteria taken into account: the proportion of graduates with student status who spent at least one semester on exchange or 3 months on placement abroad, and those working abroad on graduation. - Employability
Criteria taken into account: the gross salaries (excluding bonuses) of graduates from the most recent intake, the proportion of graduates who found a job in less than two months, the number of alumni on the school’s LinkedIn page, and the number of engineers from the school who have been supported in setting up a business by an incubator over the last 5 years.
