JUNIA is proud to be an Erasmus Charter holder, meaning we commit to respecting the fundamental principles of European programs and their values: equal opportunity, openness to others, and humanism.
Since 1987 the European Commission has managed exchange programs between European Union member states and program partner countries. This unique program offers European students, professors and staff to expand their horizons through international exchange opportunities and builds bridges for intercultural cooperation.
Every year, JUNIA welcomes students and staff from partner universities to diversify our pedagogical styles and learning outcomes. Our incoming exchange students represent the diverse spectrum of international students; coming from over 30 different countries, every continent is represented.
JUNIA also coordinates outgoing student and staff mobility to our partner universities. Our outgoing students and staff can benefit from Erasmus grants to help cover the costs of their mobility period.
The Erasmus Plus Key Action 103 project organises and finances mobility between JUNIA and other Erasmus Plus charter holders in EU member countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the FYR of Macedonia, and Turkey.
Our Erasmus Plus partnerships are managed through France Agro 3 which distributes grants financed by the European Commission. Erasmus Plus mobility grants help students and staff cover the costs of travel and life abroad, making the experience less stressful and providing financial support for a life-changing opportunity. In addition, any participants who have a severe disability or exceptional special needs may be entitled to extra funding to cover associated costs on their Erasmus+ mobility, making an academic exchange period truly accessible.
Since 2016, ISA Lille has managed several Erasmus+ Key Action 107 grants for student and staff mobility projects. These two-year programs focus on cooperation for academic and professional development for participants and our institution by sending students and staff to our selected partners abroad, as well as welcoming students and staff from those partners. Our current International Credit Mobility programs were developed in collaboration with our partners in China, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Russia, Thailand, Ukraine, and the United States, with more projects underway.
