Erasmus+ program HEI

While HEI remains a pillar of French industry, for years the school has understood how important it is for engineers to look at all issues through a global lens. By encouraging international mobility of students, professors and staff as well as welcoming international students, HEI is constantly working to diversify its student body, pedagogical approach and learning outcomes. Our programs are open to degree-seeking international students as well as for academic exchange.

Erasmus+ HEI program

Erasmus + programs are a fundamental part of our international strategy. HEI is actively involved through student mobility (study and internships), professor-researcher mobility (training and teaching), participation in strategic partnerships, international credit mobility, and reception of guest professors and business professionals.

Erasmus+ HEI program

All HEI students are required to have at least one semester of experience abroad during their studies. This requirement can be met through academic exchange at a partner university, an internship abroad, or earning a double degree. In addition, HEI welcomes students from partner universities for a semester or year of academic exchange. Having these special guests in courses and on project teams is an invaluable asset to our students and professors. To help international students ease into life at HEI Lille, our international programs include :

  • Programs taught entirely in English
  • Intensive courses in intercultural communication and French
  • Orientation and individual mentoring for international students
  • Attentive logistical and administrative assistance before and throughout their stay
