JUNIA in Douala

Some colleagues from JUNIA were in Cameroon to visit our partner university l'Institut Universitaire de la Côte (IUC).

5 days in Douala
Every member of the team had their own mission: 
  • Presenting JUNIA
  • Explaining the admission process and how to get financial aid
  • Teaching classes for students who are coming at JUNIA in September
  • Animating a résumé and cover letter workshop.

Working on students' professional projects

Estelle, Responsible of JUNIA Careeer Center told us about this experience:

“This week allowed the Career Center to educate future JUNIA students on the importance of :

  • Define their professional project (which is not obvious in Cameroon)
  • Adapt recruitment tools (CV, cover letter, linkedln profile, pitch,…) to their professional project
  • Develop a professional network
  • Better understand the codes of a French company
  • Rely on the various actions undertaken and the support of the Career Center upon their arrival in France (and from now on)”
